Day 1 Welcome and briefing session at the first night’s accommodation at 17.00 hrs. where your guide will outline the activities for the next few days. Evening dinner followed by a short walk along the shores of Dingle Harbour before visiting to a local pub for music and ‘craic’. Overnight in Dingle town.
Day 2 Enjoy a wonderful walk around the famous Slea Head, the richest areas of archaeology in the region. Starting our walk on the beach at Ventry, we follow the coastline as we round the head and on to the hamlet of Dunquin. The views to the sea are fantastic with the Great Blasket Island looming in the distance. This is the nearest point in Europe to the ‘Statue of Liberty’. There are breathtaking views from Mount Eagle on the way.
Overnight with dinner in Dingle town.
Walk Details - Distance: 16kms. Duration: 5 hours. Max. Height: 500m. Beach walking, some road walking,Open hillside, grass and rocky tracks. Boots essential.
Day 3 We follow the Dingle Way across the shoulder of Mount Brandon, from Brandon Creek/Cuas to Tirduff with magnificent views of Brandon Bay and the Maherees Peninsula. At the end of the walk we descend to the lovely, picturesque village of Cloghane where we spend our last two evenings. Dinner and overnight.
Walk Details - Distance: 18kms. Duration: 5hours. Max. Height: 450m. Grass and rocky tracks, mountainside, open bogland and some road walking. Boots essential.
Day 4 Enjoy a spectacular walk into the heart of the Brandon Range of mountains to the famous ‘paternoster lakes’ with views over Brandon Bay and Fermoyle Strand. These views and the surrounds have to be seen and experienced to be appreciated. If weather permits and, if all the group are in agreement, we may continue to the top of this historic “holy” mountain. Return to Cloghane for dinner and overnight.
Walk Details - Distance: 12kms. Duration: 5 - 7 hours. Max. Height: 600 - 950m. Rough mountain tracks and rocky terrain. Marked route. Boots essential.
Day 5 A short morning walk after breakfast, takes us to the hamlet of Brandon and its fishing pier before we return to our accommodation for our onward journey.
Walk Details - Distance: 6 kms. Duration: 2+ hours. Max. Height: 600 - 950m. Boots optional

Holiday Includes: 4 nights bed in room with private shower/ bathroom. Full Irish breakfast each morning. Picnic lunch (on walking days only), 4 Evening Dinners, 4 days walking with expert Irish Guide who accompanies the group for the duration of the holiday. Please make your own way to the first accommodation, where your guide will meet you at 17.00 hrs. for a short walk followed by dinner with the group at 19.00 hrs.

Please note that Ireland can be a bit ‘damp’ both underfoot and overhead, with some liquid sunshine! Irish weather is unpredictable and the nature of walks can change quickly and dramatically because of the weather. This is one of the many pleasant aspects of walking in Ireland.
